Set beneath large trees along the Ugab River, our standard campsites provide a relaxed and nature-filled camping experience in the heart of the Namib Desert. With approximately 25 spacious sites, guests can enjoy a peaceful outdoor atmosphere surrounded by open landscapes and natural shade.

Each campsite includes a fireplace and basin for convenience, while shared ablution facilities are clean, well-maintained, and easily accessible. The campsites are off-grid and do not offer electricity, creating a more natural and unplugged desert experience.

What Our Guests Say

We prefer more rustic “off the grid” camp sites so White Lady Lodge is perfect for us. The camp sites are spaced far from each other, another plus, and the scattered ablutions open air to shower under the stars. We also made use of the bar, pool and wifi. The Desert Ice Tea is a winner. The staff from check-in, to the restaurant and cleaning staff were all friendly and shows that some care has been taken in their training, something we felt was lacking from a lot of other establishments in Namibia.

Beautiful scenery, the views are amazing. We were at the campsite, very clean area, the ablutions were cleaned daily too 👍. We absolutely loved our stay here. The campsite was spacious, water, washing up area and braai in each spot, showers not far away, they were okay – they had hot water which was a win. The lodge itself gets our 5*, absolutely beautiful spot with 2 different pools, a restaurant and a bar. We spent a lot of time relaxing here, as a camp guest they’re really happy with that. We also went on a desert elephant drive on our last morning and had a fantastic 3 hour tour with the elephants. Really worth going, highly recommend!

Arrived unplanned and only needed camping. Reservations staff were super accommodating. Was able to use the lodge for drinks, food and WiFi. Also did a Desert Elephant tour with them. Well worth the money spent. Was surprised with the size of the wood bundle used for camping. It’s worth the price. Loved my stay there.

Very nice lodge and campsite. We had an exclusive campsite which was beautifully located, with our own shower and toilet under the sky. Very kind and friendly staff , especially guys at the bar. Thanks a lot! Meercats, African parrot and the elephant came too. Nice pool, beautiful garden. Dinner delicious. Definitely recommended.

The campsite is lovely, with good views, especially if you walk up the little hill and look across the oasis. Each campsite has a good amount of space. Some of the staff came round to sing songs at night which was a nice touch. There were also 2 super cute meerkats living there when we went!
