Explore the iconic White Lady rock paintings in the Tsisab Gorge on Brandberg Mountain, one of Namibia’s most important and debated San rock art sites. Guests can reach the site independently from the lodge by self-drive, making it a rewarding cultural excursion to enjoy at your own pace.

On arrival, access to the rock art site is strictly controlled and a mandatory local guide is required for the guided walk to the paintings. Guides are available at the entrance, and their fee is included in the entry ticket.

The walk to the site is approximately 2.5 km to 3 km each way and takes about 45–60 minutes per direction. The terrain is rocky and exposed, and conditions can be hot, so early morning visits are strongly recommended. This experience combines archaeology, history, and dramatic desert scenery into one of the region’s most memorable cultural highlights.
